Our Couple of the Year for 2005

 

Brian and Cindy joined GWRRA in 1999, but they didn't join Chapter A until 2000 when we purchased our black 2000 GoldWing 1500 SE.  Being part of Chapter A has been, and continues to be, a very rewarding experience for them.  They have held many positions in the Chapter (ride coordinator, ACD, CD and newsletter editor) and while they are no longer officers of the Chapter, they were very honored to have been chosen their Couple of the Year.  Brian is a native of Atlanta and Cindy was born in Savannah, Georgia. Cindy moved to Atlanta in 1981 to attend Georgia State University, where she met Brian through a fellow student.  That "fateful" meeting in early 1982 led to marriage in September 1984 and Brian and Cindy will soon celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary.  Brian is a Master Electrician and has his own electrical company, Allen Electric Co., Inc., and Cindy is a Paralegal employed by the law firm of Mitchell & Shapiro, LLP located in Buckhead.  While they have no children, they do have one ornery cat named Buster!
