Hope everyone is having a good year so far.  Here we are at April and there has been a lot going on.  We had game night for March with 8 members in attendance.  If you have not been to a game night then you are missing out on all the fun and some really good food and conversations.  Our next game night will be on the 24th and so far we do not have a host.

If you are interested in hosting Game Night, you only have to furnish the place, please let us know so we can get you on the list.

The April Breakfast Ride to Betty's Country Cooking in Conyers was great. No bikes this month but it was a really good meal. We had about 12 or 13 in attendance.
Our monthly gathering will be on April 17th and we are hoping to see you either in person or by Skype video conference.  Wishing you a great month and we hope to see you soon.

FUN needs "U" in the middle

If you haven't been following ALF's Adventures…go to the front page of the GA Chapter A web site, click on ALF's Adventures and read about ALF's FUN times going places with the Chapter participants.  This month ALF went home with Nathan Ensley.  Nathan, I can't wait to see all the fun pictures of you and ALF.

Rally season is upon us for the 2021 season.  Each state or District holds an annual rally. Florida recently held a great rally full of shenanigans in March and the Tennessee Rally is coming up April 29 – May 1.  Bob G. and I have been rally bums since we joined back in 2001.  Rallies are a great place to meet people, get ideas to incorporate into the team position you hold here at home, and to just get out and ride.  I highly recommend attending a rally soon.  You won’t regret it.

As more and more of us receive our Covid Vaccinations, I hope you will consider returning to GA-Chapter A's monthly gatherings and events.  We have missed you. Remember…it's just not as much FUN without "U" in the middle.

Where's Alf?

Recently he's been spending time at the Ensley's.
Where's he headed next?  Come to the next meeting on April 17th and find out.

We are having our very first Motorist Awareness Program (MAP) event since this crazy Covid stuff happened.

Saturday, May 8th, 2021
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
At Sonic Drive In, 4499 Highway 20 S.E., Conyers, GA

GWRRA has designated this day as GWRRA Motorist Awareness Day so GA Chapter A will have a MAP Display at the above Sonic.  Bring your motorcycle and come say hi, eat lunch and have some FUN. Bring a lawn chair, if possible.

At our March Chapter Meeting we had a little FUN as we broke into groups and I asked for your input for some rides.  Thank you very much. The next 'Week Ahead' will have a complete list of everybody’s input.  Below is the Chapter’s top picks. Now I need to start putting some of this stuff on our ride calendar.  One thing I have been thinking about is to stretch our day rides a little bit.  We will try this and see how many people go and how many tell me, "It’s too far".  Your comments are very valuable to Chapter A & me as the Ride Coordinator.
