Talk about a year that's flying by, here it is November and we are only a few short weeks away from our annual Christmas Gathering. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone there.

We enjoyed our monthly Game Night at our home in October. There were very few people attending due to some illnesses and others being out of town. There will not be a game night this month because of upcoming holidays. We expect to resume after the holidays are over.

For our November breakfast ride, we will return to the Lunch Box in Jackson and then the dinner ride to Silver Bay Seafood in Stockbridge. I wish I could be there but unfortunately I have tested positive for this horrible virus called COVID-19 and it is really cramping my style. I seem to have a very mild case so I should be back to some normalcy very soon.

Please check Bob Greer's "Week Ahead" emails for our upcoming events.  We hope you will feel comfortable enough to join us real soon. I for one am looking forward to getting back to our normal Chapter life very soon.  Hope to see everyone as soon as you feel comfortable to getting out and about.  Hope you have a great month and we will see you very soon.

Please check out the bottom of this Chapter Chat for special instructions prior to our November meeting.

Thoughts & Concerns
Peg Hopkins

Please keep Lawana Burrell in your prayers and thoughts.  Juanita and I saw Lawana on Friday, October 16th.  We all went to lunch and did a little shopping together.  Lawana is doing better but her sugar levels are still up and down.  She said she is getting better but still trying to get her strength up, she is walking about a mile a day with her sister.  (Better than me...HA HA)  We had a great time.  Hope she will be back with us soon.

Bonnie McCroskey is at home taking it easy after testing positive for COVID.  She is in isolation for 14 days with Bob.  Bob and the rest of the family tested negative so send prayers and love to them as they are isolated for a while.  As always please continue to check on everyone and let me know if you hear of any shut in or sickness please contact me.

We lost two wonderful GWRRA Family members in October.  Chapter S of Winder lost Coleen Taylor on October 22nd. and, Ron Alexander, Sr. of Alabama passed away on October 31st. Please pray for Colleen's family and her GWRRA family.  Please pray for Corky, Ron's wife and family and his GWRRA family.  They surely will be missed
Please keep our country and our President and family in your prayers.  This is a crazy time in our word today.  Stay safe and hope to see everyone soon!

More FUN
(just around the corner)

I wanted to mention that your Chapter A leadership team is working hard to plan gatherings and events in these times of uncertainty and chaos.  However, no matter how much planning and inviting goes on for an event or just won't be FUN unless you are there to reap the benefits.  Without you, there will be no rides or events.  Please consider joining us safely as we get back in to the swing of things.

Your leadership team here at Chapter A will be providing lots of safe activities for you to enjoy. We want to keep Chapter A alive and well during the pandemic threat.  Masks are not going to be required and the hugs and handshakes will be up to you. Get back to the FUN that GWRRA has to offer. Pick up your phone and invite someone to come back as well. Hope to see everyone soon.

You are missed!!!!!
