If you were not able to attend the Breakfast Ride this month, you missed a great gathering.  We met at Two Eggs! in McDonough with 14 in attendance and had a great time and a fantastic meal.  The next gathering will be the Dinner Social at Shane's Rib Shack in Conyers.  We would really love to see Shane's completely filled.

Thinking about this month, it will be Valentine's Day on the 14th then our monthly gathering on the 15th, and then there is the officers meeting in Perry on the 22nd. After the meeting, Bob and I will be heading on down to Miami for the Wingers 'N' Waves Cruise.  I know there are several other members that are going as well.  We are looking forward to a great time.  Hope to see some familiar faces, as well as meeting members from other groups around country.

Have a great month and maybe we will see you out on the road somewhere.

Thoughts & Concerns

Let's all continue to remember Juanita Rackley and family in our prayers.  Gary will be missed forever by all who knew him.

Please keep Vicki and Tommy Martin, from Chapter T, in your thoughts. Vicki's father, Reggie Bond, passed away January 19th.  Please also remember the Martin family during this difficult time.

Continue to keep Sue Jackson in your thoughts as she continues to recover.  Sue and Jim Jackson have been active in the AL District and Chapters for many years.  Get well Sue.

Please continue to pray for our service men and women and all our first responders.

Something For You

Everyone enjoys a chance to WIN something, especially a 7 night Alaskan Cruise.  You have until February 20, 2020 to renew your membership and receive one entry.  Remember, even if your Membership doesn't expire for  several months, they will add the new renewal time onto your existing Membership.  If you recruit a new Member, you and the new member will receive one entry each. The cruise is valued at over $2.300.

We at Chapter A need your help to keep us strong and growing.  Please pick up recruiting materials at the Chapter Gathering to carry in all of your vehicles.  You never know when you will meet a fellow rider.  It is nice to be able to place something in their hands to remind them of our wonderful Association and Chapter as you talk motorcycles and invite them to join us.

The winners for the January "Wingin for the Wad" were Dick Hopkins and Bob Olander...Congratulations on winning $54.00 each.

Let's Tell Others About Motorcycles
So We Can All Ride Safer

Come join us for our annual GA ChA I-75 Safety Break on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 as we give away some free coffee and say, "HI!" to cyclists and motorists on their way South to Daytona Bike Week.

This is just an overall great day to spend with other GWRRA GA Chapter A members as we greet travelers.  Many bikers have stopped by to say hello in previous years and they look forward to stopping by every year.

More details can be found on GA ChA Rides & Events Calendar.

I Was Embarrassed

On February 1st, 2020 I was so embarrassed when I arrived at Two EGGS! in my car for breakfast and was greeted by Larry & Sheila Appleby getting off their motorcycle.  The weatherman proved us all wrong (except the Appleby's) again.  It was a little "nippy" but absolutely no rain anywhere.

Our 1st 2020 Hump Day Ride will be on TUESDAY, March 24th.  Hump Day Rides are called "Hump Day" Rides because they are normally on Wednesdays (Hump Days).  Karla & I are leaving for the Louisiana District Rally on Wednesday, March 25th and we want to go on and lead the March Hump Day Ride.  We will go to Red Oak Covered Bridge near Woodbury, GA. This is the longest wooden covered bridge in GA.

I think I have updated all this and have it correct on the GA ChA Ride Calendar now.

If anyone has any items for sale, please send pictures, info and the sale price to Bob McCroskey.  We'll get them listed on the web.
