Hello Chapter Friends and Family, I hope you are having a great year so far.

This month we have enjoyed our breakfast gathering at Southern Cooking in McDonough and our dinner social at Graffiti’s Pizza. Our regular monthly gathering is coming up on the 20th and we would love to see you either in person or by video conference.  Bob McCroskey will send out a notice as to what video link and how to join the meeting.

Please check out the Week Ahead that Bob Greer puts out for any upcoming rides and attend those when you feel safe to do so.

I am looking forward to a greater year than the one that just passed and hope to see you at the next gathering on February 20th at Sakura Hibachi Grill

A Special Thank You to Peg Hopkins

As you may have heard, Peg Hopkins has stepped down as our Sunshine Lady.  Peg has served our chapter in this position since 2016.  I want to personally thank her so much for her efforts in keeping track of all our birthdays and anniversaries.  She also ensured that no one was forgotten when they were ill.  Over the last few years, she made sure our chapter friends and family received a card or a plant at the proper moment.

Peg, we can't say enough about the wonderful job you did as Sunshine Lady.  We can only offer our sincere thank you and gratitude for bringing comfort to those who have needed it for the last several years.

Needless to say, if anyone would like to step up and assist us with this important role, we could certainly use your help.  If you are interested, please let me know.

Thoughts & Concerns

Please continue to keep Fern and Vance Oakes in your prayers and they are continuing to heal from injuries sustained from the accident.

Bryan Douglas has been diagnosed with COPD, let’s keep him in our prayers.

Anita Maynard lost her sister on Jan 26th.  She went into the hospital on the 25th and passed the next day. While she had many aliments, she passed due to COVID.  Please keep Anita and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

Baby It's Cold Outside!
I don't know about you but I'm ready for some warmer weather.  As I write this article we are sitting in the RV in Alabama with the thermometer setting at 34˚.  Not my idea of camping.  Even too cold for an outside fire in the fire pit.

This weather also has our riding to a very minimum so be sure to join us for the breakfast rides and dinner socials.  Arrive in the comfort of your warm cars. We want to keep in touch.  Don't forget about game nights as well. It is an evening of fun, fellowship and sore losers...and some real yummy finger food.

I assure you that as soon as this weather warms up my hubby, the ride coordinator, will fill up our calendar with rides (he wants to show off his bike's new paint job).  I know I'm ready.

Alf was excited to go home with Juanita from the January monthly Gathering.  I can't wait to hear about the trouble the two of them have gotten in to this month.  Or, should I say three? (I almost forgot Peg, she's sure to be involved)

Check out the Chapter A Calendar on the web site at http://gwrra-gaa.com to find out about the upcoming events and join us when you can.  We value your friendship as well as your membership.

Where's ALF????
