Building Blocks of Rider Education

Rider Education Levels

Level 1 - Safety by Commitment - Application Fee FREE

  • Be current GWRRA member.

  • Expressed commitment of Rider and/or Co-Rider to being a safe rider.

  • Submit REP form to a GWRRA Officer.

Level II - Safety by Education - Application Fee FREE

  • Be current GWRRA member.

  • Be enrolled in Level I of the REP and have 5,000 safe miles.

  • Have a current Georgia motorcycle license endorsement.

  • Have completed an approved Rider course within the past three years.  (Rider)

  • Have completed an approved Rider course or GWRRA Co-Rider course or seminar within the past three years. (Co-Rider)

  • Submit REP form to a GWRRA Officer for verification.

Level III - Safety By Preparedness - Application Fee FREE

  • Be current GWRRA member.

  • Be enrolled in Level I and current in Level II of the REP.

  • Maintain current First Aid or CPR certifications.

  • Should wear protective clothing while riding.

  • Carry a First Aid kit on the motorcycle. (Rider)

  • Attend a one-time Motorist Awareness Seminar.

  • Submit REP form to a GWRRA Officer for verification.

There is a charge for the Level I through III patches:
   -$6 for Level I (Red & White)
   -$7 for Level I (Black and Gold)

   -$5 for Level II (Red & White)
   -$6 for Level II (Black & Gold)

   -$4 for Level III (Red & Gold)
   -$5 for Level III (Black & Gold)

   -$2 for Safe Mile pins 

 

Level IV - Safety by Enhanced Commitment and Preparedness
   -$35.00 Application Fee for Red & White Patch or

   -$43.00 Application Fee for Black & Gold Patch

  • Be current GWRRA member.

  • Completed Level III of REP and have been current in Level III for one year minimum.

  • Have ridden a minimum of 25,000 safe miles.

  • Current in both First Aid and CPR certifications.

  • Have completed an approved Rider course within three years. (Rider)

  • Have completed an approved Rider course or GWRRA Co-Rider course or seminar within the past three years. (Co-Rider)

  • Wear protective clothing while riding.

  • Must carry First Aid kit on motorcycle. (Rider)

  • Submit Master Tour Rider/Co-Rider Application form along the proper application fee.

Senior Master, Grand Master and Life Grand Master Patches are $2 each.
